hinterland. Its narrow streets lead to the top of the hill where the castle once stood. Fayence is one of the many charming villages dotted around Provence, such as <strong>Seillans<\/strong>, perched on the slopes of Mont Auzi\u00e8re, <strong>Callian<\/strong> and its castle or <strong>Montauroux<\/strong>, famous for its chapel with painted wood panels.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The beautiful avenues surrounding the old town of <strong>Draguignan<\/strong>, a city in the Var hinterland, invite you to stroll in the shade of the plane trees. In the narrow streets that wind their way through the historic quarter, you&#8217;ll discover a carved porch, a square steeped in history or an old house. The Romans were already cultivating vines 2,000 years ago. Around Les <strong>Arcs<\/strong>, vines are still omnipresent today, the experience of the monks of the Middle Ages having enabled them to develop this culture and produce more and more wine.
